The PlayStation community sifts through the gaming gold of 2010 to reveal their favourite PlayStation titles.
As the end of a momentous 2010 for PlayStation approached, we asked the PlayStation community at community.eu.playstation.com to put their heads together to come up with the definitive list of last year's PlayStation games. Now that spicy debate has ended and the dust has settled, we can reveal 2010's Top 10 along with some choice quotes from the official PlayStation Forums.
1. Heavy Rain
"...the game truly fascinated me, the story was so interesting and the graphics were just beautiful." (MarcinKawka, Poland)
2. Gran Turismo 5
"This is no ordinary car game, but more a declaration of love for anything to do with cars." (Leadbelly, Norway)
3. Battlefield Bad Company 2

4. Red Dead Redemption
"The western atmosphere of the game is unique and very well represented with the Mexican villages, the ranches... The maps are huge, diverse and graphically beautiful. All the different missions are original and you really click with the main character." (remyaya, France)
5. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood

6. God of War III

7. Call of Duty: Black Ops
"Since I prefer playing shooters, mine would definitely be Call of Duty: Black Ops because it is an awesome game!" (HNXgangster, Germany)
8. Final Fantasy XIII
"This game is a total beauty, totally breathtaking. The characters seem so real, you could believe they are alive. The combat system and the story are both excellent. I still have scenes from the game in my mind, in particular the arrival on Gran Pulse, the best cinematic I've seen so far!" (vii-link, France)
9. Demon's Souls

10. ModNation Racers
