Travel back in time with Desmond Miles and discover how his ancestors changed history.
It begins...
The year is 2012, and Desmond Miles has been kidnapped by the Abstergo Corporation. Here, he is forced into the Animus; a device able to synchronise the user's memories with their ancestors. Welcome to Assassin's Creed on PlayStation 3.
Desmond's ancestor, Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad was an assassin during the Third Crusade in 1191. The Animus reveals that Altaïr had been demoted after he broke several Assassins' Brotherhood creeds while attempting to prevent Robert de Sable, the Grand Master of the Knights Templar, from taking an artefact from a temple. Sinan, leader of the assassins, gave Altaïr the chance to restore his status by taking down nine important figures, accountable for continuing the Crusades.
As he completes his assassinations, Altaïr discovers that each target is a member of the Templars searching for Pieces of Eden. Similar to the one Sable was trying to steal, these powerful artefacts are sought after pieces that can control the minds of others.
Discover a rich story filled with twists and turns as both Altaïr and Desmond make startling discoveries that will change their lives and reveal the truth behind the Abstergo Corporation.
The missing link
Taking place between Assassin's Creed and Assassin's Creed II, Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines on PSP follows Altaïr on another astonishing journey. The adventure takes place on the island of Cyprus, in the cities of Limassol and Kyrenia, where the new Grand Master of the Knights Templar, Arnand Bouchart, and other notable Templar leaders are gathering in search of the Apple of Eden. Altaïr finds himself on a quest to hunt down and assassinate the remaining Templars.
This story unravels the links between the game's three main protagonists: Desmond Miles, Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad and Ezio Auditore da Firenze, and is exclusive to PSP.
History will repeat itself
After escaping the Abstergo Corporation with the help of fellow modern-day assassin Lucy Stillman, Assassin's Creed II on PS3 sees Desmond Miles introduced to Shaun Hastings and Rebecca Crane. The pair have created their own version of the Animus and propose to send Desmond back in time to Renaissance Italy to relive the life of Ezio Auditore da Firenze.
While he relives the memories of Ezio, Desmond is trained in assassin skills he can apply to the present day, and he must try and locate the remaining Pieces of Eden still sought after by the Abstergo Corporation.
Ezio journeys to Florence, Venice and eventually Rome, assassinating political figures and upgrading his weaponry along the way. He finds Rodrigo Borgia, the mastermind behind a conspiracy that caused the death of his father and his brother, and decides to get his revenge.
Desmond and his ancestors will become closer than they ever thought possible in this historical tale of heroism and bloodshed.
Rome is where the heart is
Picking up where its predecessor left off, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood on PS3 follows Ezio to Rome for a new adventure. Cesare Borgia, son of Rodrigo from Assassin's Creed II, has brutally murdered Ezio's uncle Mario and attacked the city of Monteriggioni where Ezio and his remaining family live.
Desmond has also travelled to Italy to relive the events of Ezio's life, and he and his companions set up camp in the ruins of the Villa Auditore. Ezio, determined to take down the Templar Order and kill Cesare Borgia, must form his own Brotherhood and train more assassins to help him complete his mission.
While fighting for justice, Ezio restores Rome to its former glory by refurbishing shops, reviving the city's income and eliminating the Borgia presence.
