PLAYSTATION Store (PS3) on PLAYSTATION Network boasts a host of fresh and enhanced features across its new design, interface and navigation in response to feedback from millions of PSN registrants in the PAL region.
As of April 15, 2008, your PLAYSTATION 3 system will gain a system software update when it goes online, upgrading to version 2.30 and allowing you to access the redesigned PLAYSTATION Store (PS3) which benefits from an array of features.
Included in this revamp is a new page layout and interface for easier navigation, permitting users to move between pages faster by pressing the X and circle buttons. You can now also view your PLAYSTATION Network account avatar on the pages of PLAYSTATION Store (PS3) and the content status display page has been given icons to indicate the status of each item, showing you what had been purchased and what is currently in your checkout cart. This revamp will not affect PLAYSTATION Network accounts or the virtual wallet system, so you can take advantage of all these treats and trimmings without needing to change a thing.
System sotware update version 2.30 also allows Blu-ray Disc playback to support DTS-HD Master Audio and DTS-HD High Resolution Audio output - so not only are you getting the best from the store, but also a superb enhancements to your movies as well.
