Enjoy your photos in 3D

See a different side to your 3D images with PlayMemories.

View your favourite photos or in-game images from multiple angles in PlayMemories. It's a great way to relive a cherished moment with friends, a favourite holiday or even a snapshot of the action from your in-game exploits. You don't even need a 3D television to experience it.

Photos available to view in the multi-angle mode are identified by the "MA" icon.

Select the image you wish to view in the multi-angle mode using the directional buttons, and then press the X button to display the photo in full-screen mode. To alter the viewing angle, press the square button and then tilt the wireless controller from side to side.

Zoom in or out of the picture by pushing up or down on the right stick. To reset both the multi-angle and zoom functions, press the L3 button.

When it is possible to view multi-angle photos in 3D mode, you'll be prompted to press the triangle button.

Viewing images in the multi-angle mode is a great way to give an impression of 3D games, movies and photos to friends who don't own a 3D compatible television.   

Note:

• Some photos may not display well in 3D mode; for instance, when either the subject or the background was moving when the photo was taken, or if the subject is very close to the camera.
• Depending on the size of the image you want to display, there may be times when it is not possible to change the viewing angle using the wireless controller.
