2011 GT Academy winner Jann Mardenborough gives us a driving masterclass in our exclusive video.
The chequered flag has just fallen on the Dunlop 24 Hours of Dubai, and right up there on the podium was 2011 GT Academy winner Jann Mardenborough, who less than a year ago was playing Gran Turismo 5 in his bedroom.
Jann was behind the wheel of the RJN GT Academy Nissan 370Z that powered over the finish line at the end of the endurance race, seeing home a team made up entirely of previous GT Academy winners. A third in class, podium finish was their reward.
It was the weekend of a lifetime for Jann. "The only thing that compares to it is winning GT Academy in June 2011," he said. "It feels like pure joy."
