Of course, crafting a game of this depth and scale doesn't happen overnight. In this exclusive interview, we sat down with game director Bruce Straley to find out what inspired him and the rest of the Naughty Dog team to create The Last of Us, from the initial spark of an idea, through to developing the bond of trust between Joel and Ellie, and imagining their bleak vision of the future where nature has reclaimed the world.
